Equilibrium Hot or Cold Pouches

Attachable anywhere in the lining of the Equilibrium Magnetic Chaps and Hind and Hock Magnetic Chaps meaning you can deliver targeted relief where your horse needs it. Place the gel pack into the provided pouch and keep it in the pouch when in use – only remove it when the pouch needs cleaning. Never place the gel pack directly onto the skin. Always use the provided protective pouch.

Use the cold pouches for post exercise to reduce swelling. Simply freeze the gel pack in its pouch for a minimum of 60 minutes. The pack can be stored in the freezer until it is needed. The pack will quickly become flexible after being taken out of the freezer so you can apply it where needed for a minimum of 10 minutes.  It is not recommended use the cold pouches before any exercise.

The hot pouches are great for use before exercise to warm up muscles and can also aid relaxation. Place the gel pack inside the pouch provided and lay flat in the microwave on a high setting for 15-20 seconds only. Leave the pouch to stand for a minute to ensure the temperature is comfortable before use. Apply for 20 minutes at least.

You can also alternate the hot cold pouches to help muscle recovery after strenuous exercise. The cold will help reduce inflammation whilst the hot dilates blood vessels and promotes blood flow.
